Day #2 of the First One Hundred
In chronicling this new administration which is offering the country promises of this and that, it's helpful for us to understand what from the past has brought us to this point, as well as what the Joebama administration has planned in order to deliver. Jeff Diest of the Mises Institute provides us an overview here in his article, "What Biden/Harris Will Do".
Dick Morris's latest article about Joebama's inaugural speech provides more clarity into what he's facing. Here's a pull-quote from the opening remarks of his article:
His inaugural address is a case in point.
As is evident from its exalted text, it was meant to be an uplifting, conciliatory speech eloquently appealing for unity and an end to vengeful partisanship.
But with Biden’s Congressional Democrats and their leaders adamant in seeking revenge against Donald Trump — even as he becomes a private citizen– its message was as hollow as a paean to the joys of marriage in a divorce court. Every sentence, every syllable was jammed by the specter of blood thirsty partisans clamoring for their pound of flesh in seeking to convict and oust a president who will be long gone by then. Only a hot tempered desire to kick Trump when he’s down could justify their actions.
In yesterday's post, I mentioned the slew of EOs Joebama signed on his first day in office. One of many was the policy which implements "Racial Equity" turns equality on its head. To understand this policy better, I urge my readers to read this article. Here's a pull-quote for it. It should ring a bell for those who've read Animal Farm by George Orwell:
While the release talks about fair treatment of all, the proposals indicate some people will be more equal than others based on whether their demographics fit the administration’s profile of “historically underserved and marginalized.”
And we learn that only yesterday, outgoing V.P. Pence handed over to Joebama the report from the Coronavirus Task Force. Oh, he's not going to like what it reveals! I wouldn't be surprised if it's already been thrown in the fireplace, to never be mentioned. Don't want to piss off our new master across the pond, no do we?
Speaking of those across the pond, we now have learned that yesterday one of the many EOs he signed to reverse many of Pres. Trump's EOs. Here's Dick Morris's "Lunch Alert" for today which explains it.
I notice that Joebama hasn't mandated mask wearing by everyone, yet. Must be because he has to wait for Congress to pass a new bill to make it legal for him do declare one, making it allowable for his "Stassi" forces to arrest those who resist. There's Hillary's favorite word that's good for them, but not for us.
